When asked, "can you feel a midlife crisis coming?" Tracy said:
Oh, absolutely. I 100% know that I'm at a transitional phase for Tracy. I mean, it's unfortunate that I know what it feels like enough to be like, "it's happening."
The other side of that is if I could, I would homestead, I would grow my own food, and I would go and interact with people at a farmer's market booth. But, I don't want to be off the grid, I need to scroll.
Although, I will be the first to say that I don't watch a lot of TV, and I don't get on social media all that much. I may be on 3-4 hours the whole week, and they may all happen at once, but then I'll be like, "phew, that was enough."
I am self-aware enough to know that if you put me in the middle of nowhere Kansas then I need high speed internet. I can't exist without it. I need Google Sheets, or Microsoft Office, or something that allows me to organize myself in someway. I can't be completely unplugged like some people are
But, I do yearn for a simpler life then what I've currently approached. Also, having bought a house, starting to move into this next chapter in my life, I have decided that I hate corporate America. I hate corporate greed, and I don't want to be involved in that.
