Kris Walker Explains Why He Hates Shame
When talking about shame, Kris said:
I hate shame. And that's the cool thing about God, there's no condemnation. One thing that amazes me about God is that people talk about his love, his mercy, and his grace, which are all so amazing. But, whenever he corrects me, I've never once felt God say, "Kris, you stupid knucklehead!"
I've never felt that. Now, I've heard him say, "hey, Kris, are you sure you want to do that? It's up to you." Again, evil uses guilt and shame. And there's so much guilt and shame in addiction and addictive behaviors.
And that's one thing that's cool about God. There's no condemnation.
